Abstract

Healthy life style has become a choice in the society especially in the big city where people tend to aware about the importance of consuming healthy food and implement healthy life style. This condition has a positive impact for those who run the business in food and beverage business especially with healthy food approach. Nowadays, smartphone or tablet already becomes part of people life that cannot be separated in daily activity. Driven by healthy life style and technological life style, 3 Skinny Minnies appears to be one of the player in providing healthy food to its customer and utilizing social media as distribution channel such as Instagram to promote their product. In promoting healthy life style by providing healthy food, 3 Skinny Minnies consistently utilize celebrity endorsement to become content of Instagram feeds. This research analyzes the effectiveness of celebrity as endorser in influencing purchase intention by attitude toward the brand using quantitative approach which, the primary data were collected from the respondents through online questionnaire. There were 274 respondents as a sample size of the research and through validity and reliability analysis that processed by statistical software using factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Based on the data analysis, it is found that celebrity endorsement has low influence on purchase intention even though the attitude toward the brand has significantly influence the customer. Hence, attitude toward the brand in this case has a direct influence on purchase intention. Thus, in order to win the competition, it is important to improve the way 3 Skinny Movies in promoting the products, so that the activities will be more effective in generating revenue.

Abstract

Mass media has a function in human life that is as information channel, perform functions as educators, to provide entertainment and as a media persuasive. It is from this function that this study will raise the preparation of how the mass media influence on local cultural identity. Media Television is the object of research is local television in South Sumatra using quantitative research methodology. The theory that made in this research is adolescent with level of education sma. The results of this study can be influence although not very significant between the influence of media and adolescent understanding of local culture.

Abstract

As the part of tourism development of Bekasi, Tourism Office of Bekasi Regency has a target to bring 2 million tourists to Bekasi in 2018. Bekasi Regency itself is the largest industrial park in Southeast Asia with the estimated 4000 industries. Seeing this potential, Tourism Office of Bekasi Regency and Jababeka form a concept called Bekasi Industrial Tourism. This study aimed to analyze the most effective promotion strategies in creating the brand awareness of Bekasi Industrial Tourism. This research used a quantitative research method to evaluate the independent variables (Advertising, Personal Selling and Social Media Marketing) towards dependent variable (Brand Awareness). Non-probability sampling with purposive sampling was used in this study. Questionnaires consisting of 21 questions with the Likert scale as a tool to measure the level of agreement was distributed to 125 respondents. Data analysis used in this research were validity, reliability, classical assumption and multiple regression. The result affirmed that advertising, personal selling, and social media marketing have a partial significant influence on brand awareness. Social media marketing has the highest influence on brand awareness followed by personal selling and advertising. This study also showed that all independent variables (advertising, personal selling, and social media marketing) have simultaneous significant influence towards brand awareness with 75% of adjusted R2.

Abstract

Co-operation is one of solution in society development, because of its motto or goals: member’s wealth. As the organization that members-owner, many provits and benefits that achieved by co-operation may used by co-operation’s members. This research aim to analyzed the role of village unit co-operation in support sociecty’s business. This research is qualitative research . Data collected by semi structured interview and Focus Group Discussion, that validated by sources and technique triangulation. Data analyzed by interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman. Results of this research is 2 main roles: direct role and indirect role. The direct role consist by: 1) kredit activity; 2) advisor and distributor of production equipment; 3) processing and marketing of product; 4) distributing and trading. Then, indirect roles consist by: 1) developing member potency and economic ability; 2) improving economic wealth and social; 3) improving living quality; 4) reducing unemployment and poverty; 5) reducing urbanization.

Abstract

There are inconsistencies in past research results regarding the impact of budgets on performance. Some studies concluded that budgeting process had significant effect on performance, but some studies didn’t. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of budgeting system on performance.This research used quantitative research method. Organizational culture and firm size are added as control variables. The population of this research are companies listed at Bursa Efek Indonesia classified as LQ45. The samples of research are companies classified as LQ45 taken randomly.The results showed the budgeting process has significant effect on firm performance but with different sign. It means that budgeting process gives negative effect to firm performance. Organizational culture and firm size have significant positive effect on firm performance.

Abstract

Subprime Mortgage in America has a wide impact on the world including Indonesia. The researcher examines its relationship with banks in Indonesia. The economic downturn in the United States will have an impact on the global economic downturn. Thus, the Indonesian economy will also be affected. If there is an economic downturn, the financial sector in this case is represented by the banking sector, which will first decrease its value. The analysis used uses the method of analyzing financial statements. Based on the data from the Audited Financial Report, the banking sector growth and operational performance can be analyzed. The results found were the linkage of Du Pont's Stock Returns and ROE. High ROE will result in rising stock prices on the market. Nevertheless, market appreciation for each bank is not the same because there are banks that are more appreciated by the market or conversely there are banks that are not appreciated as high as other banks.
